2012 Rare Earth Farms CSA Plan

Rare Earth Farms is pleased to offer the following CSA for 2012.  This will be our third year offering a CSA to our customers and our prior experience has allowed us to continually improve our CSA.

CSA Members will receive 10lbs of Rare Earth Farms all-natural, grass-fed, grass-finished beef every other month for an entire year, during 2012.

The first CSA package would be ready for pickup at our booth at the State Farmer’s Market in February.  All Members will be notified prior to CSA pickup that their package is ready for pickup.

2012 CSA 10lb Packages would be scheduled for the following six months:  Feb,   Apr,   June,   Aug,    Oct,   Dec.

Members have the flexibility to pick their package up from our booth at the Farmer’s Market any day after the “ready” date.

Spring/Summer Package months, (Apr, June, Aug), would consist of traditional warm weather cuts such as steaks, hamburger, ribs, kabobs, skirt, flank, etc.

Fall/Winter Packages, (Feb, Oct, Dec), would consist of roasts, stew beef, ground beef, brisket, cube steak, etc.

Each 10lb CSA package will consist of 3-4 cuts of beef. We make sure there is an ample amount of each cut in the package to feed 2-4 people.

2012 CSA Annual Membership Cost:   $525.00 + 2% NC Food tax, = $535.50 Tot.

The 2012 CSA will be a $600.00-650.00 value for an annual savings of      $75.00-125.00.

Payment is due in full prior to or at February pick up. We accept personal checks and cash.
